What are your hours of operation?

The hours of operation are as we define them. This statement is not intended to be obtuse, but rather a reflection of a completely different type of medical care. If you are only able to get together in the evenings, or mornings or weekends, so be it; we will arrange a time.

You will draw my labs at my home or place of business?

Yes. Most routine labs do not require any special handling, and we will draw those on site (your home, your office, our office - it is your choice!). Some less common labs do require special handling and are best drawn at the Lab of your choice - we will discuss this in advance to help coordinate this need.

Please note, the cost of the labs themselves will be billed through your insurance or via direct pay to the lab.

Can I use my Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for your Practice fees?

HSAs and FSAs have strict guidelines regarding their use for healthcare expenses. The specifics of such are stipulated in your specific plan. We can sit down together to review which aspects of our care together is reimbursable through these plans. I also encourage you to consult your accountant or tax specialist for further guidance.

What happens when you are on vacation or out of town?

I will give my patients advanced notice when I will be out of town for planned vacations or out of town training. I will still be available by phone, but will not be able to see you within a 24 hour period. On these infrequent occasions, I will do my best to manage your needs remotely.

What if I am hospitalized of have surgery?

If you are hospitalized, expect to see us! While we do not manage you directly during your hospitalization, we will closely follow your course, speak with your Hospitalists, and help coordinate your post-discharge recovery planning to get you back on your feet as quickly as possible. If you are hospitalized out of town - we will be in regular contact with you by phone
